The same phenomenon is not seen or observed in narcissists. Why? Because they hate anything that makes them vulnerable. Having an inner child and being in touch with that aspect means experiencing extreme levels of vulnerability. Narcissists suppress, kill, destroy, delete, and purge everything that makes them feel weak. They sacrifice their true self on the altar of their false self to feel powerful, creating a fantasy where they are invincible. This is nothing but a delusional way of living.
When I say they sacrifice their true self, it means they suppress their true nature and humanistic qualities, exaggerating traits they do not actually possess. Their true self is already shattered by trauma. While you can dissociate from trauma and survive, you can also retrieve it. However, a narcissist cannot because they do not accept it as part of themselves. They completely abandon it, and it withers away.
