Narcissists go through life with the intention of conquering and controlling everything and anyone they can. They manipulate, lie, cheat, and hurt to get their way. Sometimes they are successful, and sometimes they are not. They also tend to leave a trail of broken people or broken hearts as a result of their constant betrayals. But at the end of it all, does the narcissist have any regrets? Apparently, they do have a few regrets, and that is what I am going to get into today.
Today I want to look at a few regrets of the narcissist. I will also be addressing why narcissists are not likely to admit that they have regrets. And even why they are happy to convince you that they are remorseful. But remorse and regret are two emotions that are relatable; they tend to follow each other. And that is why, with narcissists, there is that contradiction. Because they try to convince people that they are remorseful but then later on say they have no regrets about anything.
So, first of all, let us address the fact that narcissists are never really sorry. Their apologies are fake and are only a means to an end. They are only sorry that you discovered them or that they now have to find a new game to play on you.
