Narcissists can be persistent in their efforts of getting closer to someone. They sometimes do not take no for an answer and will continue to go after what they want. Narcissists sometimes spend their time observing others in order to find the best way to manipulate them. They are strategic and determined. But there are a few things that can make a Narcissist lose interest in someone. And today I have 4 things specifically.
What makes a Narcissist lose interest because Narcissists can be intense once they have set their eyes on a target. In many cases they become obsessed, but they can also end up losing interest just as quickly. I have four instances or things that can make a Narcissist lose interest in someone. And one of the first things is Time.
Narcissists are very careful with their time and if they feel someone is not going to give them what they want they will move on to someone else. For some people the Narcissist is willing to invest more time than they would for others but eventually, they will cut their losses and move on.
The Narcissist may have been interested in a relationship, getting some money or any other favor. But the person was just not delivering or giving them the opportunity, they wanted. So, if someone else comes along with better possibilities the Narcissist will move on and put their focus on that new target instead. And out of frustration, they may start ignoring that person who didn’t give in to them, but as I said in this article when a Narcissist ignores you seek to make it a permanent arrangement.
