What are some good examples of “life isn’t fair”?

I learned too late in life that time is a precious and finite resource. In my younger years, I often squandered time on activities that weren’t meaningful or productive. Time has a funny way of passing more quickly as you get older; thus, it’s even more critical to prioritize tasks now that can benefit your future self. When we think too much into the future we are likely to procrastinate; but if we take actionable steps each day towards our goals – however small they may be – this helps us build momentum over time and set us up for success in the long run.

Learning how to bounce back from adversity is an essential skill for anyone who wants to reach their full potential in life!

Although there have been numerous other lessons throughout my adulthood regarding work-life balance, healthy relationships with family members/friends/coworkers etc., one theme has remained consistent: remain humble yet ambitious at all times because nothing good comes from comparing ourselves with others or competing for “worthless recognition” (as Voltaire said). Life is meant to be lived independently based off what makes us happy at any given moment – not out of competition with someone else’s path!

What are the lessons people most often learn too late in life?
