Why Are Single Women Without Children So Happy?

Women are happier than men when they are alone.
Other data shows that becoming a single woman is becoming more attractive. According to a survey by data analysts Mintel, women are happier being single than men and are less likely to seek out a partner. Part of the reason is that women in marriages labor harder than their male counterparts.

“There’s evidence that women spend longer on household duties than men, and I believe they still do more emotional work — so they also do more housework and cooking and stuff, as well as more emotional labor,” says Professor Emily Grundy of the University of Essex.

Dr. Grundy also points out that women are more interested in social networks than men, who frequently depend on their wives. “Women tend to be better at providing alternate social networks and other confidantes, while men tend to rely on their wives very heavily for that and have less other social relations,” she says.

When it comes to choosing a partner, be picky.
Often single women are simply more picky when it comes to finding a partner. This theory for singleness has progressed over time, according to research.
