The three stages of a narcissistic relationship are something everyone should be familiar with, as it will help you decide if you are caught up in such a relationship.

Today, however, is all about the Discard Phase and three different dirty ways a narcissist might discard someone. Although in the mind of the narcissist, the discard may not be permanent, those on the receiving end are usually left broken and confused. The fact of the matter is that narcissists want people to commit to them, but they will never commit to anyone. Therefore, they are always on the prowl for new sources of supply, looking to replace what they currently have. By the time they decide to discard you, they have already secured a fresh source of supply.

Narcissists also provide clues as to what they are up to. Many have a tendency to flirt even in front of their partners and like to point out when others find them attractive. They do these things to make their partners insecure and create the impression that they are desired by all. Narcissists will take on as many romantic relationships as they think they can handle. However, when it is time to discard someone, do not expect them to do it nicely.
