They Copy Your Strengths
If a narcissist is afraid of you, they may start mimicking your behavior, style, or accomplishments. This imitation isn’t a compliment—it’s a desperate attempt to level the playing field. They hope that by mirroring your strengths, they can appear just as capable. But behind their mimicry lies deep insecurity, as they try to absorb the qualities that make you a threat to their dominance.
